Dr. Raymond Liu, the Founder, Chairman & CEO of The Beauty Group, founded The Beauty Group to pursue the mission to improve the quality of life of people as the purveyor of a luxurious lifestyle which is yet affordable and accessible. With this vision, he led The Beauty Group to acquire a portfolio of luxury brands in beauty, apparel and lifestyle which meet the criteria of top quality products and services that are reasonably priced.

Dr. Liu was appointed to and served on numerous Government Boards and Boards of non-profit organizations including the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, The Council of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, The Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund Board of Trustees and Chairmanship of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Ballet. In 2004, he established the Bioscreen Foundation for Environmental Education, a non-profit organization to raise awareness of the importance of a sustainable environment and to effect change through education. Dr. Liu also endowed Bioscreen Fellowships in recognition of excellence in scientific research, education and innovation. In January 2011, Dr. Liu further established The Beauty Group Foundation, a non-profit making organization to improve the quality of life of the underprivileged and handicapped.

Born in Hong Kong, Dr. Liu holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Natural Sciences and Law from Cambridge University and an MBA degree with Distinction from INSEAD, France. A qualified Barrister-at-Law in England and Hong Kong, he is also the recipient of an honorary doctorate LLD from Lincoln University and the co-author of the book "Live Younger Longer".
